COLORADO PRIVATE LAND ELK, ANTELOPE, MULE DEER & BISON #159

ABout this Adventure

This quality Colorado outfitter offers Elk, Antelope, Mule Deer, Bison along with Turkey and Waterfowl hunts as well. With access to thousands of private acres across multiple regions of the state you can be assured of a quality hunt. Their core big-game operation is based in the San Luis Valley, a high mountain corridor near Great Sand Dunes National Park and major wildlife refuges where elk migrate and hold throughout the fall seasons.

Spring Merriam turkey hunts are conducted near Beulah, Colorado. For waterfowl hunts, they run proven hunts in both the San Luis Valley (Central Flyway) and the Western Slope near Olathe (Pacific Flyway) where corn, alfalfa, grain, and warm water habitat consistently attract ducks and geese.

Whether your goal is a trophy bull, a first western hunt, or a fast-paced waterfowl morning, this outfitter provides a professional, scouting-driven experience built around opportunity and ethical success.

Colorado Private Land Elk Hunts
These are premier private-land elk hunts across over 20,000 acres in the San Luis Valley, centered around the productive Game Unit number 82. This region sits along the western base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, providing ideal habitat including irrigated hay fields, sage flats, creek bottoms, and foothill benches that elk use throughout the season.

These hunts are conducted using exclusive private landowner vouchers—meaning no draw requirements– and zero public pressure on the ranches they hunt. By limiting hunter numbers and maintaining high-quality habitat, they carry an exceptional 89% opportunity rate, with bulls commonly ranging 270”-300” class, with the potential for mature bulls above this range.

Bull elk and cow elk hunts will be 4 full days of hunting with clients arriving Sunday afternoon and departing Friday morning. Upon arrival, guides will review safety, expectations, and recent elk activity. Rifle verification may be completed depending on time and light conditions.

Colorado Trophy Pronghorn Hunts

Hunt One of Colorado’s Most Sought-After Trophy Pronghorn Hunts. These hunts are both guided and semi-guided depending on weapon. Most archery hunts will be conducted from ground blinds. They take place in GMU 82, a unit known for producing trophy-class bucks and consistently ranking among the most competitive draws in the state. As of 2025, this unit required 10 preference points to draw—making it one of the hardest tags to acquire in Colorado.

For hunters who don’t yet have the points, there may be landowner vouchers available depending on the year. (Voucher numbers are typically confirmed around July)

Rifle hunts are guided and run over an action-packed 3-day hunt, using classic spot-and-stalk tactics across open country. These hunts include a 100% guaranteed shot opportunity, making them a premium option for hunters wanting a high-success western pronghorn hunt.

Archery hunts are semi-guided and are conducted over a selected 4-day period, combining ground blind setups with spot-and- stalk opportunities on conditions and buck behavior.

3 Day rifle or 4 day archery hunts. $5,500.
Very limited availability. They do 3 archery hunts. 1 muzzleloader hunt and 3 rifle hunts without vouchers. There is no mark up on the vouchers. You will pay the regular non-resident license fee.

Colorado American Bison Hunts

Hunt Historic Bison Country in the Colorado High Country and Eastern Plains. These fully guided bison hunts take place in true, historic bison range—with two distinct hunt styles depending on whether you’re pursuing a bull or a cow.

Bull bison hunts take place on a rugged 3,300 acre property near Hartsel, Colorado, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and classic mountain terrain. Hunters can expect partially timbered hillsides, steep draws, and a true western spot-and- stalk experience. This hunt requires moderate physical ability, as you should be prepared to hike 1-2 miles in hilly terrain while glassing and stalking. This is a free range bison hunt and can be very challenging.

Cow bison hunts are conducted on the wide-open prairies of Eastern Plains near Lamar, Colorado, offering a more accessible option. These hunts are primarily spot-and-stalk from the truck, making them a great choice for hunters who want a bison experience without the demands of mountain hiking.

No matter which hunt you choose, they will focus on a smooth, full-service experienced where you take home all meat and trophies.

1 Day 3-4 year old Bull Bison. $7,000.
1 Day 3 year old Cow Bison. $4,500.

Colorado Mule Deer Hunts

Mule deer hunts are conducted in the same area, Unit 82, as the elk hunts. This is a private land spot and stalk hunt. Depending on the hunt they may access some BLM property which would add an additional 45,000 acres to pursue deer. These are 4 day 1×1 guided hunts with vouchers provided. They only take a few hunters every year so these tags are hard to get.

4 Day 1×1 mule deer hunt. $6,500.

Beulah, Colorado Spring Turkey Hunts

Embark on a High Country Merriam’s Turkey Hunt. Experience spring turkey hunting in one of Colorado’s most scenic and wildlife-rich regions—the foothills and timbered canyons surrounding Beulah, Colorado. They operate in this unique transition zone where rolling oak brush, ponderosa pine ridges, creek bottoms, and broken pasturelands create ideal habitat for Merriam’s turkeys. Nestled along the southern Front Range, the Beulah area offers stunning mountain views, mild spring conditions, and strong, huntable turkey populations.

Included: 2 days of hunting. One gobbler. Fully guided hunts using blinds, decoys, and calling setups. Access to 450 acres of prime private turkey habitat.

Not included: Lodging, meals, licenses and before and after travel to hunting area.

2 Day Spring Turkey Hunt- $1,000 per hunter.

San Luis Valley- Colorado Waterfowl Hunts

Experience Premier Central Flyway Waterfowl Hunting in the San Luis Valley. They will strive to make every hunt a memorable one. Their guided Canada goose and duck hunts take place exclusively in Southern Colorado’s San Luis Valley, one of the most unique and productive waterfowl regions in the Central Flyway.

Sitting at 7,500-7,800 feet and surrounded by high mountain ranges, the valley’s mix of rye, barley, and alfalfa fields paired with warm-water ponds and sloughs provides ideal habitat for holding birds all season long—even when temperatures drop well below zero. Migrating geese and ducks concentrate here in impressive numbers, and our team works hard to stay on fresh feeds and consistent flyways.

From adjusting decoys to brushing blinds until they disappear, their guides will do everything possible to set you up for success. While they can’t guarantee limits on wild migratory birds, we can guarantee relentless effort, professionalism, and a hunt you’ll be proud of.

Morning Waterfowl Hunt- $350 per hunter. Minimum 4 hunters and maximum of 9 hunters.

Includes: High- quality decoys: full bodies, silhouettes, shells, windsocks. Comfortable ground blinds or A-frames. Scouting-driven setups based on bird movement and fresh feeds.
