Meet The Team

Ed Manasse
President- Florida Office

Ed Manasse was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age and shares the same passion for it as his mom and dad. Born and raised in the Northeast, Ed became an avid whitetail hunter and spent countless hours with his parents and on his own pheasant hunting and fishing for both fresh and saltwater species from Long Island Sound to Lake Ontario. One of Ed’s life-long goals was to go on an African safari which became a reality this past June 2013 with one of BMOA’s premier outfitters.

Ed has spent the last 13 years in Florida as an operations and marketing specialist and spends every available moment with his family either in the woods or out saltwater fishing. Ed’s children, Carley, Lucas and Cody truly enjoy the outdoors and just last year both Carley and Lucas successfully harvested their first whitetail deer.

Ed has taken over operations beginning in 2014 and is focusing his efforts on expanding hunting and fishing opportunities both domestically and internationally.

Butch Manasse
Vice-President- Wyoming Office

Butch Manasse was a practicing attorney for 27 years before founding this consulting business. He holds a Juris Doctorate and was a member of the Board of Editors for the Connecticut Law Review and a Distinguished Military Graduate. He was the senior partner in his law firm before retiring.

Over the last 50 years, he has hunted virtually all the continents and has done many hundreds of hunts. He also is a Nebraska hunting outfitter for deer and turkey. He and his wife Joan have an extensive game room.

Butch is an addictive reader, devouring 200 or more Outdoor magazines each year, plus numerous books and treatises. He stays well informed on all facets and news in the hunting community, including dealing with the CITES rules and the vagaries of international hunting. He also has written several articles, the most recent of which detailed his hunt in Mozambique and was published in the Australian & International Trophy Hunter Magazine in the September 2011 issue.

He is a firm believer in personal integrity and honesty, and often is heard quoting his Dad’s favorite saying: “ A man’s word is his bond”. He and Joan have both a son and a daughter, and five grandchildren, all of whom love the outdoors. “Grandpa Butch” is devoted to his grandkids and takes great pride in keeping them involved with hunting and fishing.  His son Ed purchased the company in 2014 and now serves as President and General Manager.

Senior Agent- Wyoming Office

We were very pleased to add Brian to our staff in November of 2011. He has worked, hunted and fished his whole life in the West, including Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. For the last 8 years, he has been a professional licensed guide in Wyoming, guiding for Muledeer, Whitetails, Elk, Antelope and Turkey.

When not in the office, you will find him busting clays or team roping. Brian volunteers many hours working with the public relations committee at our annual Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. He has been a sales manager for a large area business, and worked or managed several ranches. You will find that his 45 plus years spent in and around the hunting industry has prepared him well to assist you with the planning of your hunting and fishing trips.

Joan Manasse

Joan was introduced to hunting by her husband Butch. She raised English Setters in Connecticut and enjoyed taking the dogs out pheasant hunting. One morning Butch took her Whitetail hunting and she shot an 8 pointer that dressed out at 254 pounds.

Joan has been an avid hunter ever since! For over 17 years she was an outfitter on a whitewater river with over 100 canoes, kayaks and rafts in the inventory. Joan has traveled all over the United States and the world in the pursuit of game animals. Since she and Butch moved to Wyoming back in 1998, they have owned and managed this consulting business. They enjoy hunting and fishing as often as they are able. Joan hunts with either a bow, muzzleloader or rifle. Their home and office are decorated with the many animals they have taken.

Don Sangster
Agent- Canada Office

Don makes his home in Mississauga, Ontario, and is an avid multi-species hunter and angler; he describes one as his passion and the other as his obsession — which is which varies with the seasons. He’s been a professional outdoor writer and photographer since 1998, and is a frequent contributor to numerous North American print and web publications. He also owns a business that acts as distributor/wholesaler/manufacturers’ representative for a select group of premium hunting and fishing products and brands.

Don feels privileged to live in Canada, a country blessed with an abundance of game and fish, and a world of hunting and fishing opportunities to go with it. He has chased fur, feathers and fins extensively across Canada’s vast landscape, but has also hunted and fished many areas of the U.S., along with Africa and South America.

When it comes to hunting or fishing, he enjoys talking nearly as much as doing, and he’s always just a phone call or email away to chat with you about your next global hunting or fishing adventure.

Hunt-Nation has recently brought on another fantastic member to the team who brings the experience, charisma and passion for the outdoors which will surely benefit our company and clients.

Eddie was born and raised into a hunting and fishing family. From pursuing blue crabs in the Chesapeake Bay to big game hunts in the west and most everything in between, you could always find him and his family pursuing nature’s bounty.

Eddie recently retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after a thirty-five-year career in Air Traffic Control. He worked as a controller, supervisor, operations manager, and finally the Air Traffic Manager of his home airport, St. Louis Lambert International. This career provided Eddie an opportunity to do a vast amount of traveling and thus to take hunting trips all over the globe.

While extensive travels in both his youth and career allowed Eddie to live in or visit all States in the country, Missouri has always been home. Acquiring a small farm in the northeastern part of the state allowed for Eddie and his Dad to pass along the long-standing family tradition of hunting to Eddie son’s Darren and Christian. It was through this, that Eddie discovered that he enjoys helping others experience and discover the thrills of the outdoors as well. He finds it just as exciting and fulfilling helping someone get their first turkey or whitetail as he does harvesting one himself.

Eddie has organized and directed hunting and fishing trips from Maine to Alaska for bear, moose, elk, deer, salmon, halibut, turkey, upland birds and waterfowl. It is this broad background and desire to help others enjoy all there is to enjoy in the outdoors that makes him ideal to help you find just the right adventure for you and your friends.

Greg was fortunate enough to grow up in a rural farming community in southeastern Kansas. Hunting dove, quail, and fishing farm ponds as a kid certainly molded his love for the outdoors.

Joining the United States Air Force out of high school gave him the opportunity to live in Alaska for 4 years, where he enjoyed the lifestyle of hunting big game to include bear, caribou, and Dall sheep. Of course salmon and halibut fishing was of high interest as well. Other assignments throughout the US presented several opportunities to hunt deer, turkey, and grouse. After retiring from a successful 20 year enlistment in the USAF, he made a decision to accept a position to work full time for premier outdoor sporting goods distributor, selling guns, archery, and fishing products on the national level. He also spent 5 years as a worldwide hunting and fishing consultant.

One of the pleasures of life is spending time with family and friends in the outdoors….it doesn’t matter if it’s a deer hunt or a small bass tournament, he enjoys it all and is eager to help you make your next outdoor adventure a lifetime memory.
