Nebraska Elk, Sheep, Exotics and Bison Hunt #195

Bison are the classic American hunt and conjure images of the Old west and the wild frontier. This ranch provides a true hunting experience at great a price. This hunt is guided and once the animal is on the ground, your work is over. Animals are field dressed and caped and skinned at no extra charge. You can have your buffalo processed to your specifications at a local locker known for it’s quality processing. There are meals and lodging available in the nearby town. Travel on ranch by ATV. Trophy hunts are for 6 to 8 year old bulls. Meat hunts are for 3-4 year old bulls.

Transport: Fly into Omaha NE or Sioux Falls SD and rent car, or Drive all the way.

Bison

Spot and stalk hunts for trophy bulls and for meat bulls and cows are available. These are 1-2 day hunts in December or January. They include your guided hunt, the skinning and caping of animals (a big job), field transportation and you get all of the meat, hide and horns. Bison cow hunts are also available as a meat-only hunt. The terrain is varied and rugged, so you will have to hunt for your bison.

Elk

They offer bull and cow elk hunts in an area with heavy cover. This very exciting hunt includes guided hunt, skinning and caping of the trophy animal, field transportation and all of the meat. These are very nice trophy quality bulls. Most are 6×6 from 4-year-old to 7-year-old. Larger elk are available for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Fallow Deer

They have a great selection of Fallow deer. The price includes a guided spot and stalk hunt in areas with good cover. This is a fun hunt with great trophy potential.

Sika Buck

They have a variety of Sika bucks. They look very similar to a miniature elk. A 4 x 4 rack is the largest we will encounter on our hunts. This fun spot and stalk hunt.

Sheep

They also offer a spot and stalk hunt for sheep. They have Mouflan Rams, Exotic Rams with very nice heavy horns and Barbados Rams with very well marked hides. These are all fun and exciting hunts.

Merriam’s Turkey

They also offer Spring Turkey hunts for Merriam’s Turkey. (A Nebraska Turkey Permit is required)

WOUNDED ANIMALS

Any animal fatally wounded and not recovered is still charged at regular price. Every attempt will be made to recover the animal. If antlers or horns are found at a later date they will be sent to the hunter. The hunter will be charged for any animal hit by pass-through shot or for a wrong animal hit.
