“I had the amazing pleasure of doing a wolf hunt! It sure didn’t last long, I got an amazing Blue Wolf the first morning there, but it couldn’t have happened if my guide wasn’t so prepared. Also the chef was amazing, we ate very well, very down to earth people that work there and do what it takes to make your hunt successful! I highly recommend.” Cary E. Winter 2026.
We at Hunt Nation receive many requests for wolf hunts. A wolf makes an amazing trophy and is arguably the hardest trophy to acquire. There are many outfitters out there that claim success rates of 50% or better yet when asked for harvest pictures have very few to show you. This outfitter has a 65% success rate over the last 2 years with many hunters taking multiple wolves.
They offer guided wolf and coyote hunts in exclusive, low-pressure zones in Northern Alberta. They meticulously scout and bait their hunting areas before booking clients, ensuring you can enjoy what they call a “predator hunting trip of a lifetime.”
Northern Alberta is home to a strong population of wolves, allowing them to achieve excellent success rates on their guided hunts. They conduct wolf hunts from January through mid-March over strategically placed bait sites, and hunters will enjoy a comfortable experience from heated box blinds, surrounded by picturesque landscapes that enhance the relaxation and enjoyment of the hunt.
Wolf hunts are 6-day, 7 night hunts that take place 4 hours north of Edmonton International Airport. The area they hunt is vast, so the exact location of the hunt will depend on the current observed wolf movement to ensure a successful hunt. They will provide lodging and hotel and recommendations before your hunt based on the wolf activity at the time.
Hunters may use the weapon of their choice, but archery hunting wolves is very difficult, so their recommendation will always be to use a firearm for the best chance of bringing home a wolf.
Northern Alberta is also home to a dense population of coyotes offering hunters the unique opportunity to double up on both wolf and coyote. Although coyotes are rarely the focus of theirs, they make a fun addition to your predator hunt after a wolf has successfully been harvested.

“I had the opportunity to hunt with this outfitter in the Spring of 2024 for black bear. It was a top notch experience. The camp was set up excellently, the food, the guide, and hunting experience was fantastic. There are lots of bears and I was successful on two fantastic spring blackies. I’ve been with lots of outfitters and I’d place them among the best.” Rick H.
