This Outfitter has two different fishing Lodges. Fishing is equal at both lodges, but prices differ. Pricing varies with the amount of luxury of course. The original Lodge is extremely clean and well kept. You can have your own room, or you can get a cabin. They provide a breakfast and a sack lunch, and you cook your own dinner in the cabin or on a bar-b-cue. This lodge is located on the Kenai Peninsula. This is the lounge area and a bedroom in the lodge All cabins have a fully stocked kitchen, and lodge rooms have kitchen access with barbecues. Most guests BBQ at the lodge or go out to eat.
The second lodge is the luxury lodge. It combines the same top-quality fishing trips but adds in all the amenities of a five-star property and all-inclusive top notch meals. It’s been a well kept secret for the past 20 years. Both lodges are centrally located on the Kenai Peninsula among the great fisheries of the area, and the Seward combo trips, as well as the halibut trips, are held in Cook Inlet. Cook Inlet, as you may already know, is known for great halibut fishing and for having one of the largest tides in the world. In fact, the famous 345-pound halibut was caught right here in Cook Inlet with Captain Charlie not long ago. This is the largest fish caught in the last 12 years around the Ninilchik area.
Both lodge’s have freshwater guides and saltwater skippers who can choose from over a dozen different salmon runs and resident fisheries during the course of the season. What this means for you is an opportunity to fish for salmon, halibut and trout from late May through September. The Kenai river trips are conducted just to the north of the lodges and the Kasilof river trips to the south. In addition, the lodges also offer fly-in trips in creeks over on the other side of the Inlet. So you can choose to fish salt water or fresh water; ocean, streams or lakes and ponds.
The luxury Lodge is unique: it’s one of the few all-inclusive lodges right on the Bluff of Cook Inlet in Kenai, Alaska. They offer all-inclusive luxury vacation packages that include all of your meals, appetizers, wine & drinks. Their impressive menu includes salmon, halibut, king crab, prime rib, and more.
This high end Lodge has seven bedroom and 8 bathrooms in the main lodge, three of which are suites with their own bathrooms. That brings their capacity to between 14 and 17 people at any given time. Regardless of which lodge you choose, Summertime is one of the best season to visit — because they will be catching fish throughout the months of June, July, and August. This is a great place to sit back and relax after a full day of fishing. To top it all off are the beautiful view of the Mount Redoubt Volcano on the bluff of the ocean where the lodge is located!

Alaska Overnight Fishing Trips
Come on the adventure of a lifetime! Take an overnight fishing charter out of Homer with Jimmie Jack Fishing! Venture from the harbor in Homer, Alaska into the remote Gulf of Alaska. You will travel long-range at 60-80 miles out of Homer. This trip is for the hearty. Be ready to fish hard. We do have bunks if you need to rest, however we suggest you fish! June includes the opportunity for halibut, salmon, and rock-fish. July and August trips include fishing opportunity for lingcod, halibut, salmon, and rockfish. Double limits on all species! All meals are included.
This is a long-range trip taking you down to the beautiful Chugach, Elizabeth or Barren Islands and beyond where the fish are bigger. There is also a chance of seeing whales and other marine life.
What to Bring
• Bring your own drinks
• Pack appropriate cold weather clothing
• Sleeping bag/blanket and pillow (most guests just sleep in the clothes they are wearing)
Remember, you will be fishing, not sleeping on these trips. We have a few beds set up so guests can take turns getting a little sleep if necessary.
Meals: We pack a lot of food for your trip. Meals usually include food like lasagna, and rotisserie chickens, garlic bread, a large green salad, and a couple of pies or similar for dessert. We can warm these in the microwave. You will usually have breakfast burritos that can be heated up for breakfast, with coffee, juice, milk and pastries. We always carry some snacks and sandwiches to munch on while fishing.
The boat usually returns around Noon the following day, sometimes sooner, depending on limits, weather, and tides.
You will have the opportunity to catch lots of big fish on these trips

Transportation: Most of our clients fly to Anchorage and rent cars there. It is an entertaining drive that most enjoy. However, if you would like to fly to Kenai rather than drive the 3 hours from Anchorage, you have two good options… Grant Aviation, and Ravn Aviation. Both fly smaller prop driven planes with daily 25 minute flights to Kenai from Anchorage International Airport.
